CLEAR FIRE POLY CFPCC is an high intumescent ASTM E84 Class A, UL723, NFPA 255, TYPE 1 fire retardant coating. CFPCC is formulated for fire treating clear plastics such as PMMA, PC , ABS, HDPE, PVC, Clear Cast Acrylic Panels  and other hard to coat clear thermoplastics, with up to 90% clarity. CFPCC requires an adhesion promoter that is supplied with product.  ASTM E84 Tests, Surface Bunring Characteristics of  Materials, conducted at Intertek Testing Services indicate Flame Spread 0.0, Smoke Developed 100 to 190  FPI Tests based on the ASTM D3806 projected ASTM E84 Flame Spread 10.

CLEAR FIRE POLY C-FPCC

CFPCC is the only ASTM E84 Class 'A' , UL Type 1 fire retardant coating available for fire treating clear plastic panels and other hard to coat thermoplastics. CFPCC offers both flame spread resistance and burn through resistance in the same panel, as verified in tests.

C-FPCC requires an adhesion promoter supplied with product.
Be sure surface is clean and dry
Shake well before use and shake intermittently during use.
Hold can 10" to 12" above surface while spraying.
Spray adhesion promoter lightly over entire surface to be coated.
One can covers 40 to 50 sq. ft.
Allow 15 minutes to dry.
C-FPCC APPLICATION
Be sure surface is clean and dry before treating.
Apply with brush only,at temperature  of  45 degree to 90 degrees F relative humidity less than 70
Be sure to allow drying between each coat.
For Plastic Panels apply CFPCC wth the substrate lying flat to avoid excess build up that may cause distortion
COVERAGE:
1 Coat @ 125  to 150 sq.ft. per gallon

FLAME SAFE FIRE POLY C-FPCC is a high intumescent coating that is specifically formulated as a fire retardant and smoke inhibitor for various plastic type substrates. It is specially formulated for interior use. When applied according to Flame Safe's specifications, it is a permanent and effective fire retardant for the life of the substrate provided it is not removed by extraordinary means or exposed to extreme moisture conditions.

ENVIRONMENTAL REGULATION:

This product complies will U. S. Federal Regulations concerning the use of lead in paint and hydrocarbon emissions.

INTERIOR

All surfaces to be treated must be clean and dry. Fire Poly C-FPCC is water based, clear liquid. It dries clear and becomes insoluble when dry.

DO NOT DILUTE OR MIX FIRE POLY C-FPCC WITH ANY OTHER PRODUCTS.

Avoid wasteful runs and dripping. It should be noted that unlike some products, materials treated with Fire Poly C-FPCC require no special cutting tools or special fasteners. Contact parts of any equipment should be stainless steel or plastic to prevent chemical reaction and breakdown. Store at temperatures above 40°F and less than 90°F (4.4° C and less than 32.2° C)

CAUTION:

Product must not freeze. It must not be thinned or diluted.

OVERSPRAY:

The overspray will not harm plants or animals. Spills can be flushed with water. A rag wetted with   bleach and water mix will clean up spotting.

CLEAN UP PROCEDURE:

          Airless Equipment.

1. Run clear water through the system until coating is flushed out. When minor sudsing on surface stops, the system is flushed.

2. Run bleach and water mix (1 part to 4 parts) through system as solvent for cleaning any residue.

            3. Repeat Step 1 if any foaming occurs in Step 2.

            4. Lubricate system as specified by equipment manufacturer to combat rusting.

If two or more applications are planned in the same day, the sprayer can be kept clean by running water through the system between applications.

          Brushes/Rollers.

              1. Clean immediately after use.

              2. Wash thoroughly with bleach and water mix (1 part to 4 parts).

SAFETY FIRST

Use approved safety devices (ropes, belts, ridge hooks, ladder, etc.) When working on steep or high areas. Take EXTREME CARE not to step on wet treated area. Surface may be slick until dry.

It is good practice to wear respirator or mask and protect hands with rubber gloves when spraying any coating or chemical. When engineered air control is not feasible, use properly maintained and properly fitted NIOSH approved respirator for solvent vapors. A dusk mask does not provide protection against vapors.

If eye contact occurs, flood with water for fifteen (15) minutes and call a physician. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. DO NOT TAKE INTERNALLY.
